In Store Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions apply only to orders placed in Store

These terms and conditions apply to your order for the purchases of furniture ("the Furniture") from Joysleep Limited ("the Company"). They supersede and replace any inconsistent or additional terms and conditions of whatever nature made verbally by the company, its employees or agents.

Leather is a natural product and is subject to dye, grain, shade variances and natural scarring. Natural wood is also subject to shade and grain variation. Improvements by manufacturers to improve the quality and appearance may also bring changes. Each piece of furniture is therefore unique and will not match the showroom model exactly, but the products supplied will be of equivalent value and functionality.

Goods remain the property of Joysleep Limited until full payment has been received by the Company.

Any balance outstanding is payable before delivery by Bankers Draft, Building Society issued cheque or valid and accepted Debit or Credit Card. Payment whether personal or by company cheque, must be made at least 10 working days prior to delivery to ensure clearance.

No cancellations will be accepted once an order has been placed. However the Company can grant cancellation prior to the delivery to our warehouse, at its discretion and subject to a cancellation charge of 25% of the order value and loss of profit.

Delivery

  • Once the Company is in a position to deliver the Furniture it will try to contact you by telephone to arrange a convenient date and time for delivery. If the Company cannot contact you by telephone it will give you at least 5 working days written notice of the proposed delivery date.
  • The Company regrets that storage facilities are not available. Customers are expected to take delivery of their goods within 10 days of notification unless previously agreed in writing with the store manager. In both cases any outstanding balance must be paid as soon as the goods arrive in the warehouse.
  • Although every effort will be made to effect delivery within the approximate time quoted, there may be occasions when later deliveries occur. Time will not be of the essence unless specifically stated on the order.
  • The Company only agrees to deliver to a ground floor entrance anywhere on the U.K. mainland. It is your responsibility to ensure there is adequate access and space to receive the Furniture on delivery. Delivery beyond the ground floor entrance may be undertaken at your sole risk. If there are any physical obstructions to overcome to effect delivery the Company may make an additional charge. The company will not be responsible for any damages to customer's property including wooden floor, fixtures, furniture etc while manoeuvring.
  • There are no free deliveries.
  • The Company shall not be held responsible for an inability to deliver in consequences of war, changes in fiscal policy, strikes, lockouts, fire, breakdown or any other contingency beyond its control.

You will be deemed to have accepted the Furniture and agreed that it is as ordered unless you notify the Company in writing within 5 working days of delivery.

Unless specifically stated in the agreement, finance payments will commence one month from the date when the application was signed. In some cases, this may be prior to delivery.

All goods are subject to manufacturer's terms of warranty, which agree to repair or replace at the manufacturer's discretion within 12 months of the goods being delivered to Joysleep Limited. Remedial work carried out outside of this period will be on a chargeable basis.

Where the Furniture is exported and you then notify the company of a defect as specified in 6 above, the Company reserves the right to examine the Furniture in the UK before repairing or replacing the defective item. It is your responsibility (at your cost) to return the Furniture to the UK for inspection. Repaired or replaced Furniture will then be delivered to any address you specify in the UK.

The conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

We are committed to you, our customer, and by signing this document, you are committed to us. Unfortunately no cancellation can be accepted once an order has been placed.
